West Pilbara Community

The Western Australia Health District region of West Pilbara has an approximate area of 116,000 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Baynton, Bulgarra, Burrup, Dampier, Gnoorea, Karratha, Karratha Industrial Estate, Millars Well, Mulataga, Nickol, Pannawonica, Pegs Creek, Stove Hill, Tom Price, Whim Creek and Wickham plus parts of Antonymyre, Cleaverville, Cossack and Gap Ridge.

It is comprised of the localities of Cane, Chichester, Cooya Pooya, Fortescue, Hamersley Range, Innawanga, Juna Downs, Karijini, Maitland, Mardie, Millstream, Mount Sheila, Mulga Downs, Nanutarra, Onslow, Paraburdoo, Peedamulla, Rocklea, Talandji, Wittenoom and Yannarie plus parts of 7 localities including Balla Balla, Barrow Island, Dampier Archipelago, Mount Anketell and Point Samson.

It is comprised of parts of the councils of Ashburton and Karratha.

It is surrounded by the health districts of East Pilbara, Gascoyne and Murchison.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of North West Central and Pilbara.

It is within the federal electorate of Durack.
