About Us
A non-profit, voluntary community based group conducting on-going education for the Over-Fifties on a Friday of each week for two ten week semesters each year. One starting mid March and one Mid August. There are no exams, no homework and no academic pre-requisites, just shared learning from professional lecturers, each lecture lasting for one hour.
Topics for this semester include: Fragments of Italian Beauty; Early Modern concepts of Astrology; Introduction to Laws of Evidence; Ancient Rock Art of the World; Maritime Archeology -- Underwater Journey to the Past; Discovery, Drama and Design; A Tour of the Solar System; Chemistry of Criminal Investigation; Waste Management...All Rubbish?; Language, Life and Time; Heroes, Villains and Freedom; Behind the Scenes of Perth's Iconic Arts Organisation
