High intensity daily personal activities

Receptive Health Care Pty Ltd understands that having a disability at the same time managing some high intensity daily needs can be really challenging. That is why our highly experienced nurses are there to provide specialised care for complex needs like:

• Day-to-day management
• of medications 
• Complex Bowel Care
• Administration of subcutaneous injections
• Enteral feeding management (nasogastric, jejunum and duodenum)
• Urinary catheter management (indwelling catheter, in-out catheter, and suprapubic catheter)

Support with activities of daily living

Our person-centred approach ensures that activities of daily living are made easier, enjoyable and manageable.
No task is too big for our health care service. Our support team is passionate to provide services such as:

• Household tasks like cooking, cleaning, decluttering, gardening
• Support with attending activities like hairdressing, shopping, massage etc
• Providing companionship and live-in assistance as required

Community nursing care

The nursing team at Receptive Health Care Pty Ltd have combined experience of over 30years in their professional career. With up-to-date registration and post-graduate qualifications, the registered nurses are equipped to provide hospital grade nursing care in the comfort of your home. Our nursing teams’ qualifications includes, but not limited to:

• Tracheostomy and ventilation care
• Mental health assessment and specialised positive behaviour support
• Complex wounds management
• Vital signs assessment and referral for specialist care

Assistance with participation in Community, Social and Civic activities

We acknowledge the challenges faced by people living with a disabilities. However our team also carry a strong belief that there are ways to minimise limitations in participation in community, social and civic activities.

Our individualised services empowers the participants to engage in support community activities such as attending celebratory functions like Australia Day. We also provide companionship in participant’s social interactions and involvement in civic activities, advocating for equal opportunities.

Travel and transport services

Having a current unrestricted driver’s license is one of the requirement for employment at Receptive Health Care Pvt Ltd. Our health care team are able to provide assistance with transportation of clients to various appointments and commitments, whilst available to provide support for any required needs.

Through continuous training and professional development, we ensure our team are updated on safety requirements, basic life support and emergency response to enable safe transportation of the participants.
