Tassie Mums

Tassie Mums is a not for profit volunteer run charity that is passionate about providing essential items to babies and children in need.

Tassie Mums collects donations of new and excellent condition pre loved baby and children’s clothing and other small items through donation collections with the support of local individuals, schools and businesses. Donations are carefully sorted and bundled by volunteers and then rehomed via various social service organisations to Tasmanian families in need.

The recipients of bundles are determined by the welfare agencies that request goods from Tassie Mums.

Clothing bundles are made for girls and boys from premature birth up to 12 years of age. A newborn bundle can contain 70-100 items of clothing and at least 2 books and 2 toys, donations permitting. Other items we rehome include nappies, play mats, bassinet and cot linen and toiletry packs for new mothers.
