LifeTec supports and facilitates self care of people in their home, work and community, by advising individuals on appropriate assistive technology solutions. Our staff are at the edge of assistive technology, enabling us to provide advice and hands-on experience of the latest devices, systems and designs to suit individual needs. Life Tec services are classified under three areas: information, consultation, and education and training services. We also continue to work closely with the indigenous community, to promote services by tailoring them to meet the unique needs of this sector of the community. Life Tec provides consultation services by appointment to members of the public, health professionals and other organisations. Our health professionals provide advice and information on a wide range of available assistive technology that can help to meet individual needs, including mobility, computer access, communication, personal hygiene, pressure care and recreation. For those living in rural and remote regions, Life Tec privides a state-wide service where our staff can provide in-home appointments for some of our services.
