WHO WE ARE

Meliora Life is a boutique company with a dynamic team that believes in a bespoke approach to service delivery and recognises the importance of tailoring services to the individual in order to reach the best outcomes.

Meliora Life was founded after two colleagues working in the mental health field discussed the issue of limited NDIS service providers supporting people with a psychosocial disability. We always struggled finding the right services that had staff members who were experienced and qualified to provide psychosocial support and when we did find services, they had limited capacity to support or would have a long wait time.

We decided to combine our experiene and provide superior NDIS psychosocial support ....that's how Meliora Life was born. 

WHAT DOES MELIORA MEAN?

Meliora means BETTER in Latin. We all want a better life and better looks different for all of us. Our aim is to help you achieve your better!

OUR SPECIALITY

We specialise in supporting individuals with a psychosocial disability. Our team has extensive experience in delivering holistic and individual-focused support to people living with a psychosocial disability as well as their families.

All our team members have significant mental health experience and have qualifications to match. Our team's qualifications include; Mental Health Enrolled Nurse, Bachelor in Social Work, Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling and Diploma in Community Services.

CALD/ PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT

Our team consists of individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and we understand the importance of representation and cultural safety in health care support. We are sensitive to our participants' needs and ensure that they receive support in a way that respects and encourages their cultural identity. 

We offer a free meet and greet virtually or face to face.

We do not charge for transport for face to face meetings EVER!

OUR SERVICES

Below are the services we provide;

- Support Coordination

We will assist you to connect to services, help you to better understand you NDIS plan and build your capacity to fully utilise your funding.

- Psychosocial Recovery Coaching

We will assist you to design and implement your recovery plan, connect to services, understand and implement your NDIS plan and build your confidence and capacity to manage complex challenges and live a full life.

- Assistance with Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations

We will assist you to explore suitable accommodation options, gather documentation and apply for the option chosen, follow up with relevant stakeholders and assist you to understand your tenancy obligations. 

- Independent Living Options - Exploration and Design

We will assist you to explore suitable accommodation options and assist you with navigating the application process.

- Life Skills Training

We will support you to achieve your goals, build your capacity in any life skills you are keen on learning and connect you to services and groups that will build your skills.
