About Us

Contemporary art collective Carte Blanche hosts Between the Tides, a free one-day art event on the Moreton Bay foreshore. Held every two years in either June or July.

Installations created with found and recycled objects are exhibited on the vast Scarborough landscape.

This is a relaxing art event which allows the public to enjoy artworks in a natural environment. The aim is to use recycled materials, making interesting and surprising works. The site also has disabled access part way onto the sand via the concrete ramp and matting.

The event is supported each year by Moreton Bay Arts Council, MBRIT, Redcliffe State High School and Moreton Bay Regional Council.

All community members, students and artists are invited to contribute art and to come along to enjoy this celebration of outdoor art. BYO picnic lunch, drinks and snacks, there will be a coffee van at the event.

If you wish to participate or require more information, please contact Carte Blanche. carteblancheart1@gmail.com
