Allay Plan Manager is a Registered NDIS Plan Manager helping NDIS participants manage their funds, pay invoices and providing a monthly budget to track spending.
Benefits of Plan Management
- more flexibility – participants can use both registered and non-registered providers
- participants can pay up to the NDIS price guide (if unsure, ask your Plan Manager)
- a separate budget called “Improved Life Choices” is provided by in your NDIS plan to pay for a Plan Manager (this must be requested at the planning or plan review meeting)
- the Plan Manager can provide exact information on where the plan balances are up to
What is the Plan Manager responsible for:
- providing a service agreement, to be signed by the Plan Manager and the participant or nominee
- creating a service booking for Plan Managed budgets
- processing claims through the NDIS portal
- paying provider invoices directly & on-time
- keeping records and receipts for purchases & supports provided, claimed and paid
- ensuring not overspending (ie. spend more than the plan budget)
- informing where the budgets are up to (generally in the form of a monthly statement)
What the participant is responsible for:
- choosing their Plan Manager
- finding & organizing their own supports, including their own support workers
- deciding when and how their supports are provided
- advising their providers who their Plan Manager is (so they know where to send invoices)
