About Us

The Flinders Shire Council Community Care Program aims to assist the frail and aged people; including those with a disability and their Carers. We provide services to assist those to live independently within the community. Community Care is funded by State and Federal Governments to deliver the following programs for the Flinders Shire community:
•    Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS)
•    Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
•    Home Care Packages, Levels 1, 2, 3 &4 (HCP)
•    Veterans Home Care (VHC)
•    National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Support services include domestic assistance, personal care, meals on wheels, community transport, social support (individual and group based), and assistive technology and home modifications
