A community band organisation in Cairns, our Concert Band and Stage Band play for the love of music.

Our Concert Band and Stage Band play for the love of music. Everyone in FNQ Bands provide their talent and skills with a commitment to:

• Performing high quality live music in Cairns
• Contributing and entertaining the Cairns community
• Developing a social network of musicians and music lovers

Established in 2019, FNQ Bands is a non-profit, incorporated organisation run for and by the community with members ranging from high school to seniors. The vision for FNQ Bands is to create musical opportunities for people from all walks of life through our enjoyment of music and performances.

MISSION: Through regular rehearsals, diverse repertoire and community engagement, FNQ Bands provide a stage for musicians to grow.

REHEARSALS: Every Wednesday during school terms | Concert Band: 7:00pm-8:00pm | Stage Band: 8:00pm-9:00pm | Peace Lutheran College Hall 50-60 Cowley St, Kamerunga | Players are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes prior to setup and tune. Music stands are provided.
