Wheeling And Able

Wheeling & Able provides financial support to families with children and young people (to age 18) with a physical disability living in the Hunter Region of NSW to obtain mobility and therapeutic aids and educational adaptive technologies.

We are a self-funded charity and non-profit organisation. We do not receive any government funding and rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses and community organisations.

Wheeling & Able originated in 1932 as the Newcastle & District Association for Crippled Children and since then has helped over 16,000 children across the Hunter to access essential aids and equipment to assist in their independent, mobility and everyday needs.
