About Us

CHALLENGE FOUNDATION GOULBURN INC - GROUP HOMES FOR N.S.W PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES Residential Services for People with Disabilities Challenge Foundation Goulburn operates Group Home for people in & around the Goulburn area. This Group Home caters for people with disabilities, with up to four residents in each home. They provide a reassuring option for families of people with disabilities who face the often traumatic decision on the best on-going care for a family member with a disability. Our trained staff provide 24-hour support and ensure the residents live in a safe, happy and home-like environment. Many of the residents leave the home on a daily basis to attend vocational or recreational activities. Residents of our group homes for people with a disability participate in domestic duties such as meal preparation, and social activities. The N.S.W Department of Human Services: Ageing, Disability and Home Care pays for staffing and some running costs, while residents contribute 75% of their pension to cover their board and lodging.
