The Western Australia Health District region of Wellington has an approximate area of 3,300 km².
It is comprised of 28 suburbs including Allanson, Argyle, Balingup, Beelerup, Brazier, Brookhampton, Buckingham, Charley Creek, Collie, Collie Burn, Donnybrook, Glen Mervyn, Grimwade, Kirup, Lowden, Lyalls Mill, Muja, Mullalyup, Mumballup, Mungalup, Newlands, Paynedale, Preston Settlement, Queenwood and Shotts.
It is comprised of the localities of Cardiff, Harris River, Noggerup, Palmer, Southampton, Wilga West, Worsley and Yourdamung Lake plus parts of Cundinup.
It is comprised of the councils of Collie and Donnybrook-balingup.
It is surrounded by the health districts of Blackwood, Bunbury, Busselton, Leschenault, Southern Wheatbelt and Warren.
It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Collie-preston and Warren-blackwood.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Forrest and O'connor.
