About Us
The Blackwood Safe Space is a 'drop in' style, non-clinical alternative to services such as emergency departments for people experiencing emotional distress or suicidal crisis. We offer a warm, compassionate, and welcoming environment, staffed by lived experience peer workers who can connect with others through the mutual understanding that comes with meaningful shared experience.
