The Embroiderers Guild

Welcome to our Ararat Branch

We are a small group of enthusiastic ladies and men who practise and encourage a widely diversified range of handicrafts and embroideries. Our members are a mixture of experienced and beginner stitchers and we are more than willing to share our knowledge and skills. Throughout the year we hold many inhouse workshops and courses to expand our knowledge of our craft.  We would love you to come and join us for a cuppa, a stitch and maybe learn some new crafting skills.

Meetings

Beginners welcome!

Sit and stitch days are held on the 1^st and 3^rd Saturday and the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday of each month, with three open meetings each year and one of these being the Annual General Meeting
 

Classes

The Class Coordinator organises external and inhouse tutors throughout the year for varying handicraft and embroidery skill classes

Newsletters

Newsletters are produced on a monthly basis, keeping all members informed of upcoming events and helping to keep in touch with what’s happening in the guild community.  These are posted to members without email.

Although we are a small group of stitchers and crafters, we are delighted to have a varied skill set.  Come and join us and see what we have to offer.
