Sandbrook Aged Care School Program

We welcome the opportunity to contribute to the development of students within the aged care sector, providing learning experiences and insight into residential aged care.

Through our Student Placement Program, we provide a supportive environment to promote students learning experiences in a variety of disciplines. Placement at McKenzie is structured learning in a real work environment so students can gain valuable aged care work experience in the practical skills required for their qualification.

We have employed many people who have completed their placement with McKenzie and also employ people on a part-time or casual basis while they are completing their qualification.

McKenzie offers placements to students who are studying:

• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
• Diploma of Nursing
• Bachelor of Nursing
